I have not yet seen the Christmas special - am viewing Season 9 of the series, which I love. I would suggest to the person who did not like the Christmas show and said that she would not try the regular series, that she/he should give the tv series a try. It is so well done - watch at least the first two or three episodes of season one and see if you aren't pulled in.

Not very inspired acting, not much chemistry between the romantic married couple tho' it's nice to see the woman is a doctor back in the Victorian days of more gender-restricted roles. Whether or not Krampus really exists is overpowered by an obvious mask and funny, rather than scary, glowing red eyes. As an American, newcomer to this Canadian series and unlikely to pick up the other shows.

Rated 5/10. It's an okay show, but the calibre of plot is nowhere like the series. Like all Christmas specials, it's sappy and cheesy. I hope they don't do any more of these.

Saw this episode on TV, but had to watch again. Love Murdoch Mysteries and this movie is done in true Murdoch fashion. Very entertaining!
