A trade summit on Corellia brings Han Solo back to the home world he left many years before. Arriving on the distant planet with Leia, their children and Chewbacca, Han finds Corellia overrun with agents of the New Republic Intelligence and finds himself part of a deceptive plan whose aim not even he understands. One thing is clear: the five inhabited worlds of the sector are on the brink of civil war and the once peaceful coexistence of the three leading races -- human, Selonian, and Drallan -- has come to an end

Ambush At Corellia is a good title for this book because...Surprise! The characters get ambushed.
Unlike Remnant that has no chapters at all, Ambush At Corellia has chapters with titles. (I think this trilogy is one of the few Star Wars books that has chapter names.
Anyways, I thought it was nice to see Han and Leia actually spent time with their kids. In this era of the E.U, they're always sending them away or just aren't with them. (I found the parts with Han talking to Jaina, Jacen, and Anakin really adorable).
The story follows Han, Leia, Chewbacca, and their children on Corellia, Luke accompanying Lando on his journey to find a rich wife, Mara Jade making the occasional appearance, and a NRI agent who watches the Solo family.
Though this book was a little slow at the beginning, things start picking up when Thracken Sal-Solo appears as the main villain, (he remains important for the next two series), and when things get chaotic on Corellia at the very end of the novel.
The book is short being barely over 300 pages, and it's a pretty quick and enjoyable read once you get past the slow beginning.
