The history/relationship of the Newark PD and the city are showcased. Not a pretty story. You get some graphic cop take downs, you get the usual police response to racism/profiling/unethical behavior. You see the frustration of the local Mayor who has inherited a huge mess. And you see police work in some of the most dangerous neighborhoods. Racism has put blacks and latinos in handcuffs. Poverty forces people to fight back against the state. Newark PD and the city now will work together to make change for the better. Hey, at least state taxpayers aren't writing cheques for $100 million like we did for the RCMP. Paul Boyd 8 bullets. Enough said.
