Charlotte has a plan: get the top grades in her class, make her grandmother proud, and get into Stanford with early admission, something no one else in her family has done. Her plan does not include dating, boyfriends, or the prom--because she doesn't want to end up like her mother and sister, who were obsessed with boys and have paid the price. But that was before Tate. Before the biggest pop star on the planet took an interest in her. And now, Charlotte doesn't know what she wants.-- adapted from book jacket

I'm not too sure, but I would like to say that this book is probably very relatable for many young teens out there. The protagonist is a young female student who has her entire life planned out (Stanford, Med school, residence, job...) to avoid becoming like her family, which all the women were derived of their lives due to a boy. Sworn off boys, she thought everything would go smoothly. That was all before she met Tate. But is she really willing to push the lines that she set for herself, for a chance at "life"? Reaching out to the hearts of the hopeless romantics, this author wove a tale that teaches sometimes plans are meant to be broken. 4/5 stars

Almost every girl's dream, this was a wonderful read and very thrilling. The main character was wonderfully ordinary, allowing readers to relate to her. However, I will admit that Tate was a tad bit hard to understand at times. The beginning of the book was absolutely a page turner, but near the middle, almost to the end, I found myself a bit frustrated with the pace of things and how they were turning out. But at the very last chapter, it was very satisfying and complete.

Good Job!
