Here was my first introduction into the world of historical romance, and it was one of the best introductions I could have had. I *love* this book! The characters were amazing. Julie Garwood is a mistress of fantastic characters, especially in her historical novels. I fell in love with the characters, and rooted for them to end up together, somehow in the end. I would really recommend this book!
