If I tell was an okay book. It was realistic, with a good message, but lacked excitement on some parts

If I Tell definitely isn't the worst book I've read, but not the best. At first it's actually quite intriguing. Unfortunately, the rest of the book is quite dull. All in all, this book has a great message, but the story leaves much to be desired.

I loved this book. It shows true friendship and who to trust in a modern town where few blacks are. It is about a biracial girl trying to fit in.

A classic teenage conflict: one of our parents, or someone in the parent figure, has wronged us, while our caretaker (mother, mostly) is being brave while something big is going on.
