A promising debut. Jake Bugg's still young, and his lyrics still tend to lunge at poetry without quite grasping it. But his retro blues and folk-rock sensibilities are refreshing, and his subject matter is gritty enough to set itself apart from most contemporary hipster pop. Are comparisons to Bob Dylan warranted? No. But who knows what the future holds.
This fellow from England sounds like a young Johnny Cash, fantastic singer.
+1 to "best new talent to come about in many many years"
This guy is a talent that is going to last for decades to come.
It wasn't the best thing I ever heard, and certainly not the worst, but there were only about two songs I would bother listening to again.
best new talent to come about in many many years
This wasn't the worst Music CD I've ever heard, it is far from being good not worth the long library wait!!!! -
