Disappointed with the ending. Thought after reading the whole book (113 pages?) that it was the shorter version of the story!

I agree, should have ended with a solution or a new book should've been written! James Patterson, what were you thinking!!!

Typical good Cross story, but it just suddenly stops with no resolution. Doesn't look like the next full length Cross novel will continue the storyline either. Disappointing. Glad I didn't purchase it.

Have to agree with xflorence. When I finished the "book" I was left suspended in mid story. Are all the Hot Shots like that? Very unsatisfactory. I've always liked short stories but not incomplete ones. What's the point of leaving an open end with no way to find an ending?

Interesting to see Patterson, as he ages, putting out a ton of short stories, using his past characters - love these Bookshots!!

The book had No ending. After dragging the reader along on a convoluted improbable trail the author throws in a abrupt plot twist and ends the book. Now in most cases this would have been a cheep ploy to make the reader buy the next book but no next book is noted.
