Steve Case, co-founder of America Online (AOL) and one of Americas most accomplished entrepreneurs, shares a roadmap for how anyone can succeed in a world of rapidly changing technology. We are entering, he explains, a new paradigm called the “Third Wave” of the Internet. The first wave saw AOL and other companies lay the foundation for consumers to connect to the Internet. The second wave saw companies like Google and Facebook build on top of the Internet to create search and social networking capabilities, while apps like Snapchat and Instagram leverage the smartphone revolution. Now, Case argues, were entering the Third Wave: a period in which entrepreneurs will vastly transform major “real world” sectors like health, education, transportation, energy, and foodand in the process change the way we live our daily lives. But success in the Third Wave will require a different skill set, and Case outlines the path forward

This is one of the few reviews I have provided for a book. It is Steve Case's first book and he admits it was crowdsourced with input and comments from some very brilliant minds, but the voice is his own and the tone is both civic and tech and how companies and the country could or will be transformed in the future, I really enjoyed it and am inspired by it and those two comments don't roll easily off my tongue
