I've read only the 50 or so pages relevant to the part of France I want to visit, but those pages are wonderfully filled with useful information. I'd already read quite a bit about the area, and thought Steves' book would be superfluous, but it's not. I admit to being put off from reading it by his egregious French accent on his TV travelogs, but again, I admit to being wrong. This is a helpful book filled with information I hadn't even thought about needing. I'm sure when I go, I will take Rick's advice and, having bought my own copy, tear out the section I need and take it with me.
