Rosalyn Anker and Murray (Mark) Morgan, stage performers and radio show hosts, fulfilled their passion as gem stone collectors and began a second career. Together they opened Gemini Gems on the second floor in the town of Bellmore, Long Island. As the company grew, they expanded to 9 rooms which became the Long Island Museum of Natural History. People came from all over to view their collections as well as to seek their advice about gemstones and healing. Mark and Rosalyn also worked with an assortment of animals in need. As president and executive director of Animals in Distress, they were sought after for information about rescue, care and adoption. Eventually, due to the overflow of artifacts, customers, friends and curiosity seekers, they moved to a storefront on the main street in town. The Long Island Rock and Lapidary Shop was a fixture in town for 48 years. This movie is a retrospective about these beloved people and the passage of time
