Goodman delivers a story that is fully engrossing bringing the setting alive with illustrative phrases, and keeping a suspenseful pace while telling stories with stories that make up a wonderfully layered mystery. She keeps her readers guessing and her surprises are shocking right up until the final pages. Goodman also breaks up the intrigue with a bit of sexiness involving the town sheriff. Fans should enjoy this smart summer read. Highly Recommended.
