Every corpse is a clue. A woman is found murdered in a field. Tattooed on her feet is a strange combination of numbers and letters. Detective Beatrice Kaspary quickly identifies these as map co-ordinates, which lead the police to a 'treasure box' containing several severed body parts -- and a note from the killer with a series of cryptic clues to the identity of the next victim. So begins a desperate scavenger hunt in which Beatrice herself becomes a pawn in the killer's game of cat and mouse, as she risks all to uncover the murderer

A thrilling, gruesome story of geocaching, with many twists and turns. Very enjoyable to read even though this is not usually my genre. Detectives put on the case to find out who the owner is, starting off seeming like a normal murder and turning around to be a murder full of puzzles and mystery. Where will the next clue hide? What will happen next? It's a book you can't put down. If you like mystery and don't mind gruesome stories, this is a novel for you! This book really puts you into the murder case, I was finding myself trying to figure out things along the way. You get to be alongside detective Beatrice Kaspary as she tries to solve the case, also trying to juggle her personal life on the side. You never know what may happen next. Read five to find out more! 4/5 stars ( just make sure you are good with blood and dead bodies ) -TFTH!

What an original concept - geocaching murder mystery. Definitely grabbed my attention! Beatrice Kaspary is a detective I wouldn't mind knowing more about. Ursula Archer gives us plenty to chew on as we follow her on her hunt for The Owner. This feels like the first of a series, and I will be keeping an eye out for more by her. TFTH.

This is a reasonably interesting and clever twist on the standard police procedural. The European setting never gets in the way.

Too many tropes: genius serial killer; guilt-ridden single mother homicide detective, etc.
