I loved this movie, it was amazing to see how Arnel became the lead singer.

Interesting story of how Arnel from the Philippines becomes the new front man for the rock group Journey.

I might've called this "Arnel Pineda's Journey" instead of "Everyman's", since it really is all about him. This movie is heartwarming and does a great job of showing the grind of touring. I'd seen Arnel perform on tv before and found that his stage antics were a bit over-the-top and his sound was almost a bit too refined (notes a tad over-sustained, lacking the tone of Steve Perry's); I still notice these things... BUT after watching this movie, they don't bug me nearly as much because I really LIKE the guy now. My main beef about the film is that I think they gloss over what happened when Steve Perry left the band. Other than that, this was a fascinating, feel-good movie.
