I thought it was a cool read those broads had moxie especially Basia.

This was a great read and gave you a good insight into the prohibition era in Chicago. It also gave you a glimpse into the lives of the "flappers" of the day.

Good escapism. Author includes lots of juicy details about the 1920s. She also is a very good writer with a nice lucid and interesting style.
