I usually try to find books with the cross (Christian symbol) on them so I won't accidentally end up with a smutty, foul language book. However, this book didn't have that symbol and did have a few spots of bad language (briefly) which I skipped over. More importantly this book is a delightful, light read that will allow one to escape for a while to this magical world of (ghost) Bailey Ruth.
This is the 2nd (I believe) in the series. It is obviously early in the series but well worth the time. BayRoo is an adorable relative of the ghost (Baily Ruth) and spoiler alert! Her name came from guess who. I found this story to be entertaining and I must say that I was completely SURPRISED by who the killer ended up being. I usually can pick out the murderer pretty quick. But not in this one. It had a wonderful ending too. I wouldn't recommend this book to a child because of those curse words. Yet there is only one thing I would would be nice if I could get the author (Hart, Carolyn G) to realize that foul language ads nothing to the reader's experience, to the plot or the storyline! Fortunately there are very few words like that in the book. This was a good book overall and I am now off to read the next in the series.

Pleasant cozy mystery, told by a ghost who is sent from heaven to help her great-niece.
