The story of friendship and ownership are explored in This Moose Belongs to Me! The main character has some serious rules if the moose is going to be his pet, but the moose doesn’t seem interested so they come to a mutual agreement and learn to compromise. Can you really own something that is wild?

His unusual story lines and his compelling illustrations make him so much fun to read!

A cute story, however liked his other book "Stuck" much better.

Wonderful gentle story that brought up discussions about "owning" animals and the meaning of friendship. Cute and funny too!
