Finally the story-telling pace kicks up when Flycatcher fulfills his epic destiny in the Homelands. The Flycatcher story is so compelling and awesome, it even absorbs all the regular Fabletown characters. Included also is a cute interlude drawn in a kid-toony style involving wolf cubs.

Fables v10 the story of Flycatchers attack into the Homelands is right up there with my other favorite volumes so far. Not by coincidence my other two favorites were the attack by Boy Blue and the attack by Bigby into the Homelands. These are the climaxes but the rest of the volumes are just as important for the build up. I can't wait to get into v11 which is a grand finale for the story that started with v1! This is epic! I really recommend this series.

I enjoyed Flycatcher's character immensely. I love when a story takes a former background character and turns them into an important plot point, it makes you want to reread the previous volumes to see what clues you have missed.

One of the better stories within the Fables series. This volume is amazing, like Leonardo DiCaprio.
