Do NOT watch this if you think the United States is a good country.

A solid and well-informed documentary by Amir Bar-Lev about a most amazing man—a world class athlete and risk-taker as well as a quiet, well-read, introvert—who, in death, was thrust into a spotlight he had always tried to avoid. That his death was tragic is a given, but how that tragedy was later twisted into a propaganda tool for Bush’s America is both infuriating and disheartening. News reels, home movies, and a perfect mix of ad-libbed talking heads bring Pat’s story home, but Bar-Lev’s film ultimately rests on the shoulders of Pat's mother Dannie, a most tenacious advocate who emerges as a force to be reckoned with.

Incredible film!! Leaves you shell-shocked. If you love the U.S.A., watch this movie! Should be required viewing for all High Schools.

It was good to hear the story from the familys perspective-a real eye opener. Seems the govt will stop at nothing to protect its image. A worthwhile movie

Terrific doc about a hell of a man. Pat Tillman was a stud! If I can raise my son to be half the man he was, I'll be a genius. Also, I'm so amazed with the integrity and perserverance of this family to make sure the real story is known. I'd say hands down, best doc of 2010! Interesting to me that this didn't get more notice in the awards circuit. Seems pretty fishy that there wasn't even an Oscar nom. Watch it!

This documentary was heartbreaking! The story of Pat Tillman has been told and twisted around so often (by the media, government, etc.). This documentary tells it from the family's point of view and how they feel unequivocally that their son's death was used as a propaganda tool to rally support for two wars. This film will make you angry and outraged. The director did an excellent job in giving voice to Tillman's family.
