I really enjoyed this story of human beings, family, community, and the motivations we have for doing what we do. Great movement in unity here.

An alright movie for a rainy day. I'm not quite sure what Doug thought the outcome would be of his relationship with the stripper. It seems he just needed to get away from his family life in Indiana but why choose to assist this young person? I know the obvious implication from his wife's details concerning their daughter but this did not seem to ring true with him. I enjoyed the fact that the movie ended somewhat realistically. However, it may been a better filn if the reason why the wife was home bound was explored more throughly (actually, at all).

It starts out looking like a film by Jim Jarmusch with its musical score, quirky characters, and awkward situations. Then it kind of evolves into itself becoming something better. You'll see little snippets of Tony Soprano when Gandolfini gets steamed >LOL<

The story of loss of a loved one, its effects on a mother and father and helping one's fellow man. A nice change of pace for James (Soprano) Gandolfini. Good supporting roles from Melissa Leo (from Homocide) and Kristen Stewart.

VERY WELL ACTED!!! A very "Human" story about a long time married couple, dealing with the "Post Trauma" world after the death of their daughter. It was slow moving, but very rewarding! Great performances by all three characters.
