The director, Francois Ozon, deals in relationships, the meaning of life and death, sexuality, and relationships. This is not a movie for action fans, but is very good for exploring Ozon's interests.

A most unusual movie that questions many of the roles we are asked to play in life. A beautifully filmed French masterpiece that shows us that the heart ought to be trusted above all.

A decent french soap with a bit of everything: plutocratic parents with two boys, one gay and the other OD'ed. There was the dead son's pregnant girlfriend who stayed in the scenic hideway ... The ending helps the movie's rating from 2.5 stars to 3.
