Never can get enough of that marvelous actress, Hilary Swank. And, as a bonus, the film is actually really good.

Be sure to watch the interview in Special Features when you are finished the movie; there's more to the story.

I couldn't sit right with the obsession she had toward her brother. Was she in love with him or what?
Let's be honest, her marriage failed, her kids were torn apart, her brother (being falsely accused) didn't make things better for others with his behavior, and she turned out to be a bitter woman, turning on her friend that was there for her.
What I found appalling was that in the end she was asked if she was going to further her career as a lawyer and she said she never intended in being a lawyer. She spent all that time studying and passed the bar exam only to go back to serving drinks??? That was crazy.
This woman wasn't right in her head. It's wonderful to be there for your relatives but when it starts interfering in your world, it's not them, it's you. If you noticed in the end she sat next to her man, HER BROTHER.

Very compelling story. The love and commitment she had for her brother was remarkable. Good movie!

I sure like that Hilary Swank. She is always so believable and passionate in everything I've seen her in. This is no exception and the movie overall is definitely worth a watch.

Wow. What an amazing story of a sister's love for her brother. Talk about having conviction--to believe without a shadow of doubt that her brother was not guilty. And to commit herself to getting a law degree, passing the bar, and exonerating her brother and to actually do it! Just amazing. So sad to hear that he passed away just months after he was released.
