Very good movie far superior to the last three Harry Potter's. Got to see 99% of what was happening on the screen.

As a boy Dave Stutler he had a crush on a girl, he asked her in a note how she felt. He happened to lose the note which happended led him to a old antique store and thats how he found Balthazar Blake who was searching for the one person to inherit merlin's powers. Dave accidently let out Maxim Horvath (Balthazar's enemy) from a Matryoshka doll (Russian nesting doll) and Balthazar had go in an urn with maxim for ten years. When he finally got out he had to teach Dave to use his powers so dave could fight the evil sorceress that Maxim was in love with. Dave also ends up going out with the girl he liked and they grow closer in friendship.
