Would you like to grow your tightly curly hair long and healthy?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this book was written for you. It gives you the information and techniques you need to celebrate—not fight against—your very curly hair. This is a great book that addresses the hair care needs of those with tightly curled/coiled biracial and/or afro textured hair. It has a lot of specific step by step details and gives in depth information into the how and why of tightly coiled hair. Those with looser curls and a finer hair texture may want to check out "Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey. The method laid out in "Curly Like Me" may be a bit too heavy for those with finer/thinner textured hair.

given the light weight topic, I'd say this is a pretty comprehensive treatment of how to care for long curly hair exclusively. Admittedly I didn't read every word. I learned a few tips including what ingredients are desirable or not in hair products.
