With these other reviews stating high much they liked this, I was left disappointed. ALWAYS up for a good laugh, ranging from Dumb and Dumber-to 3rd Rock from the Sun- to Last Week with John Oliver, my broad definition of what makes me laugh was left wanting in this flick. Unoriginal premise aside, the dialogue has been done before, and with more wit & charm. I only laughed once, hoping that there would be some sort of comedic payoff, I soldiered on, but to no avail.

"Fired Up" is a good film. The lead actors were good and it was a good laugh.

Fair – Fired Up! (2008) 91 min. I googled if indeed there existed cheerleading camps and I have to report that they do in fact exist and there are many of them. This romp [an American take-off of the British “Carry On” films of the 1960s and 1970s] examines the goings on of a cheerleading camp when two football jocks pose as cheerleaders to get a little closer to the ladies. Though the film centers on the sexual escapades of the two gentlemen, there’s no instances of nudity to speak of except the buttocks of one male cheerleader. The best and probably the only imaginative scene has the cheerleaders watching “Bring It On” [a cheerleading movie] and mouthing all the dialogue of that film in unison; funny and scary at the same time. Though this is no “Bring It On”, it does have its moments despite a forgettable ending.
