I like Grant Morrison's take on Batman. it captures the fun of Batman and Robin and still feels dangerous. I liked this collection except for the last chapter or issue that winds up the story in a way I don't like. No spoilers from me, though.

Not a book to read alone as the two prior books by Morrison (Batman and Son & The Black Glove) are necessary in order to understand a lot of what's happening. That being said its a wonderful (although somewhat convoluted) story, if you take your time with the story there is no reason why you shouldn't enjoy it. Also includes "Last Rites" at the end which takes place during Final Crisis which is one of the best Batman stories I have ever read.
