A very funny book about the serious issues concerning aging parents and making sure they have the care they need. Meg travels from Nova Scotia to care for her ailing mother and stepfather. Between care-givers, step children, siblings, parents’ falls and dementia there is always some crisis on the horizon. After the laughing, there is a lot to think about with the care of the aging and how the elderly are treated in our society.

Very funny, very real stories about the crazy life of caregiving and dementia. It also allows the reader to have an inside scoop on some of the things a person doesn't normally have an opportunity to talk about or consider, i.e. why allowing hospice into the picture is a good idea.
