The subjects of this book, knitting, magic, etc., are subjects I love to read about in a novel, but this book simply did not hold my attention at all. After picking it up 3 times and attempting to read it again & again, I finally just returned it to the library.

I expected to like this a lot more than I actually did - the characters were not very well-drawn (or that likeable, really).
