Dear Listener, You are presumably looking at the back of this audiobook, or the end of the end. The end of the end is the best place to begin the end, because if you listen to the end from the beginning of the beginning of the end to the end of the end of the end, you will arrive at the end of the end of your rope. This audiobook is the last in A Series of Unfortunate Events, and even if you braved the previous twelve volumes, you probably can't stand such unpleasantries as a fearsome storm, a suspicious beverage, a herd of wild sheep, an enormous bird cage, and a truly haunting secret about the Baudelaire parents. It has been my solemn occupation to complete the history of the Baudelaire orphans, and at last I am finished. You likely have some other occupation, so if I were you I would drop this audiobook at once, so the end does not finish you. Withe all due respect, Lemony Snicket

Narrator Tim Curry reads this audio book with the perfect detached sneer in his voice--the way I imagine ol' Lemony himself would read it if only God had gifted him with a magnificent voice!

One of my favoite series for sure. i like how there kinda like the harry potter books in that they start out with "the bad beggining" which is kinda more aimed at kids, then its just gets darker, and better...if you like this sirise, i would suggest reading all of them again, because snicket hid all sorts of details and connections that you can only get by going back. like in the "hostile hospital" he makes a refrence to the fact that he himself had stolen the sugar boal from no other than Esmay Scualler. in the "Grimm Grotto" (the book that most involves the sugar boal) he doesnt bring up the fact that he commited the theft at all. if i hadddent gone back i would never have noticed that...
