Witch is wanted by the world's most elite police agencies, doggedly pursued by three very different detectives - one woman and two men. The author commented that he wrote this series of books (under the name Jack Harvey) in less than three months. It shows--we are never sure who the protagonist is nor are we sure whether or not the villain is truly a bad person. In some books, that uncertainty works; not in this one, in my opinion.

This is the first book I read by Ranking that has made me go WOW. It felt like a well timed break from the Rebus series and the author certainly took advantage of it. A definite winner!
