the spookiness of the title cut, allegedly about Richard Nixon (he was a spooky president; he put Lennon on an enemies list), alone, makes this cd wothy of a good listening.

Elton John (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight - March 25, 1947) is an English singer, pianist, and composer. In his five-decade career he has sold more than 300 million records, making him one of the best-selling music artists in the world.

He has worked with lyricist Bernie Taupin as his songwriting partner since 1967. Together they have collaborated on more than 30 albums to date.

Now 46 years old - Madman Across the Water would be Elton John's 4th studio album. Though not a commercial success when released in 1971, this album does contain a number of songs that are certainly worth listening to.

Three of my favourite tunes are - Madman Across the Water, Levon, and Tiny Dancer.... (*Watch music-video*)
