Very interesting material but i wouldn't call it one of these exciting non fictions that you wouldn't want to put down. I think it's a good book for teachers to refer to in class or recommend to students for health class. This book would also be particularly useful in Bio 30. If i recall the bio 30 textbook only has one chapter on reproduction. This would be good for students wanting to learn more. The book is written in textbook format with pictures and easy to understand text and illustrations etc. At first thought it would be just a small book with a few photographs but it's not. It's a 250 page textbook of everything you ever wanted to know about the beginning of life . Everything from conception to birth, and the last section tells you about IVF . The reason why I rated this book 14+ is that it definitely has some mature content . i was reading some of the reviews of this book on goodreads and are surprised to hear that some parents are sharing this book with their children . Please, parents if you want to teach about the birds and the bees there are collections of children's books in CPL on this topic . children's books on reproduction will talk about the sperm and egg fertilization and it will say that a man and a woman are needed to make a baby. it will NOT explain HOW men and women make babies. This book contains pictures of ppl in the act of making babies under infrared camera . So just beware .
