I love this MUCH improved version of an old tale. A girl and 2 boys, collecting frogs and turtles in a neighborhood pond ....
Did that frog talk???! What should we do with it? What does the frog (Amy) REALLY want?

This would make a good read-aloud.
Or a good school project: adapt it for readers' theater.
