I absolutely love all the books in this series! They are extraordinarily well written! They do a good job of telling the story and not just throwing a bunch of facts at your face, which I like. Yet they are very informative. I recommend them for book reports or biographies/novels. They are one of my favorites and I learned TONS from them. Read them all to get the whole picture! Love 'em!

Great read about Mary Tudor of England, otherwise known as Bloody Mary. I plan to read Meyer's other books since this one was really good and interesting, especially between Mary and her younger half-sister Elizabeth. It makes me wonder if Mary only hated Elizabeth because of her own pride and bitterness since Elizabeth was a threat to the throne. Great historical fiction!

A good book for people that like reading about old royal events, court life: assasination plots, revolts, fake obediance.....Tudor roses.
It was a good read although it you really don't understnad the power of words til you read a book about Princess Elizabeth and tehn a book about Princess Mary. One minute you're feeling HORRIBLE for Elizabeth and you hate Mary and then you read a book about Mary's life and find out it wasn't easy ither. That Mary, bloody Mary felt pain and stress, constriction and you start to feel bad for her unitl the end when you read the historical note and remember why she's called BLOODY Mary!
Overall a good read but it get's harder and harder to distinguish right from wrong after 2 or 3 or these Tudor drama noels!

It was a pretty good story based on a real piece of history. Although i had to say, the ending was weak yet full of impact.
