I realize that this book was written nearly 15 years ago, and that Fielding was one of the pioneers of chick lit. Even so, I find the constant obsessing on diet, size, dating tactics and men very depressing and wish that Bridget would occasionally give serious thought to her career and her development as an individual. But then Bridget just wouldn't be Bridget, would she?

Not as good as the first, but still great.

Oh Bridget.... She's such a great character. Not as good as her first series of adventures/mishaps, but always entertaining.

Fielding knows how to write about women. Very well written, very fun!
