This is a cute book with some great "trick or treat" jokes. It introduces children to Halloween's ancestor, Samhain, and also other similar festivals around the world. It's not thoroughly academic, and if you are well-versed in Halloween lore it may irk you a bit, but I think most kids will love it. The illustrations are fun, too.
