This book mostly focuses on "regular" divorce issues. I found the limited, almost superficial, discussion of domestic violence issues depressingly dismissive, especially considering the majority of divorces have DV-components. Of particular concern was the heavy emphasis on 'co-parenting', which in cases of DV is problematic at best and downright dangerous and destructive in most situations because it ensures abusers maintain control of the family dynamics.
